Kayla is a registered Social Worker, born and raised here in Newfoundland and Labrador. She received both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
She uses a client-centered approach, providing individualized services to each person she works with. She appreciates learning about each clients’ strengths, motivators, and values and providing them with support and guidance along their path to living well.
Kayla has received additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
As a Social Worker, Kayla provides counselling to individuals (18+), couples, and families in a variety of areas, such as: ADHD, workplace stress/trauma, struggles with work-life balance, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), anxiety, and depression.
Kayla offers in-person and online counselling services, and currently has availability for daytime appointments.
Rufaro is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Originally from Zimbabwe, she moved to Newfoundland over a decade ago to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in French from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She also holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Rufaro believes that everyone deserves to be treated with empathy, kindness, and compassion. She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel empowered and comfortable being their raw and unfiltered selves. Her therapeutic approach primarily incorporates interventions from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
As a strong advocate of the client-centered approach, Rufaro believes in the ability of each individual to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. She is committed to supporting her clients through their unique journeys.
Rufaro works with individuals (16+) facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, emotion regulation difficulties, and those exploring their gender or racial identity.

Rachael is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
Rachael works with adults, teens, and children aged 8+. She has experience supporting individuals facing challenges such as 2SLGBTQ+ issues, personal or job stress, grief and loss, life adjustments, intimate partner or domestic violence, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, and self-esteem struggles. Rachael also has experience working with children in a variety of contexts including respite work and has completed several play therapy trainings.
Rachael embraces a person-centred, holistic approach as she believes each client is unique and can achieve therapeutic success by working collaboratively together. Her approach incorporates therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Therapy as well as drawing on mindfulness and play therapy techniques.
Aside from professional dedication, Rachael is deeply passionate about providing support and understanding tailored to every individual that she has the privilege to therapeutically connect with on a compassionate and empathetic level.
