Elizabeth is a Registered Social Worker with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Work (registration #1967) and a member of the Canadian Association of Social Workers. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work (1996) and Master of Social Work (2009) degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She was trained as a meditation teacher in New York City and does ongoing professional education training to keep current in the mental health field.
Elizabeth is a holistic counsellor who uses a variety of evidence-based and trauma-informed therapies, such as Strengths-Based Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Brief-Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. If the client is interested, she combines these traditional therapies with alternative healing modalities such as meditation and spirituality.
Elizabeth works with individual adults and couples experiencing a wide variety of areas, such as trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, divorce, parenting, anger management, bereavement, self-esteem, stress management and relationships.
Elizabeth is passionate about the field of healing in mental health and has 25 years of experience with a wide variety of traditional and alternative trainings as a social worker in Newfoundland and New York City. These experiences combined have made her an insightful and compassionate therapist. In her practice, Elizabeth takes a client-centered, goal-oriented approach, and develops a supportive, caring and accepting therapeutic relationship with her clients. She creates a safe space in which her clients can develop insight and work on their mental health issues to heal and live their best life.

Kayla is a registered Social Worker, born and raised here in Newfoundland and Labrador. She received both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
She uses a client-centered approach, providing individualized services to each person she works with. She appreciates learning about each clients’ strengths, motivators, and values and providing them with support and guidance along their path to living well.
Kayla has received additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
As a Social Worker, Kayla provides counselling to individuals (18+), couples, and families in a variety of areas, such as: ADHD, workplace stress/trauma, struggles with work-life balance, anxiety, and depression.
Kayla offers in-person and online counselling services, and currently has availability for daytime appointments.
